Axon Energy is a Kenyan Oil Marketing Company importing and distributing petroleum products across Kenya, Uganda, DRC and South Sudan — from the forecourt to the regional transit route.
Axon Energy Ltd, incorporated in 2012 and fully operational since 2013, is a recognized Oil Marketing Company in Kenya with a strong footprint across the East African region.
Our core business is the importation and marketing of petroleum products, including Premium Motor Spirit, Automotive Gas Oil, JET A-1, Kerosene, Lubricants and LPG — supplied through retail, wholesale and cross-border transit channels.
To be the leading provider of efficient and sustainable energy solutions in Africa and beyond.
To exceed customer and stakeholder expectations responsibly, with a focus on environmental sustainability and operational excellence.
Axon Energy's transit business — supplying clients across Uganda, DRC and South Sudan — is the core and foundation of the business, accounting for the largest share of import volume.
Regional transit clients in Uganda, DRC and South Sudan are supplied via open tender import — including a 1,000 m³/month JET A-1 contract to SSV Business in Beni, DRC.
Three operating service stations in Meru, Kisumu and Narok, with a fourth under construction in Voi and three more sites in lease negotiations — part of a standing target of three new stations per year for the next decade.
Products imported through the Open Tender System for wholesale and re-sale within Kenya, supplying contracts to fleet trucking companies, industries and resellers.
Imports via the OTS for regional transit clients in Uganda, DRC and South Sudan — the core and foundation of the business, and the largest share of import volume.
Axon Energy has partnered with JX Nippon (Japan) to market and distribute the Eneos lubricants brand in the local market.
Eneos is the 6th-largest lubricant brand in the world, and the largest in Japan — carrying OEM endorsement from almost all Japanese vehicle manufacturers.
Axon Energy undertakes to fulfil and exceed customer expectations through the provision of high-quality products and services — focused on safe operations, continuous improvement and best industry practice. Our staff know that all our efforts go toward giving the client a pleasurable experience. To achieve this, we will:
Listen to our customers, then identify and document the processes required to meet their expectations.
Measure and analyze our products, services and processes to ensure continuous improvement, and report and correct deviations.
Adhere and comply with all applicable local standards, laws and industry best practice.
Train our employees on their responsibilities, and equip them with the information, techniques and tools they need.
Our products are handled entirely within the Kenya Pipeline infrastructure and the VTTI terminal in Mombasa — from receipt at the Kipevu Oil Storage Facility (KOSF) and VTTI terminals, pumped inland, and loaded to trucks at the Konza Petrocity, Nakuru, Eldoret or Kisumu pipeline terminals.
We also operate a fleet of long-haulage trucks through our sister trucking and logistics company — guaranteeing end-to-end quality of the product, from terminal to forecourt.
